Hurix Digital Delivers 7,000 Minutes of Audio Recording with Closed Captions

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India – Hurix Digital, a global leader in digital content and tech solutions, has partnered with a leading educational publisher to launch an audio-based learning initiative with 7,000 minutes of captioned audio to improve learning outcomes for higher education students.

The client wanted to make their audio resources more inclusive and accessible for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or prefer to read along. Their audio-only files didn’t have text synchronization, making it difficult for some students to follow technical content. Hurix Digital was brought in to fix this.

Using US-based voice-over talent and expert captioning tools, Hurix Digital created 600 audio modules totalling 7,000 minutes. Each was carefully synchronized with closed captions for real-time reading: 100% accuracy and high praise from the client for quality and timeliness.

The benefits go beyond accessibility. Educators are reporting that students, especially those with part-time jobs or studying in noisy environments, are benefiting from being able to follow captions for better understanding and retention. The captioned audio works across devices for more flexibility in learning.
