Hurix Digital Completes Major K12 Science Education Project with New Interactive Learning Platform

Mumbai, July 2025 – Hurix Digital has finished developing a new set of interactive digital learning objects for K12 science students. The company used React technology to build these virtual lab experiences.

The project started when several schools approached Hurix about their science lab problems. Many schools don’t have proper lab equipment. Some can’t afford it. Others worry about safety issues with chemicals and burners. Even schools with good labs struggle when 30 students need to do the same experiment.

Hurix Digital built digital labs where students can run experiments on computers or tablets. They can freeze water, mix chemicals, and test climate models. Everything happens on screen, but students control what happens by clicking buttons and moving sliders.

Snehnath Neendoor, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Hurix Digital, commented on the project: “Schools kept telling us the same thing. Students tend to memorize facts for tests but don’t really understand the science. We wanted to change that. Now, when teachers explain that water freezes at zero degrees, students can actually make it happen on screen. They see the ice form. They can make it melt again. Do it ten times if they want. That’s when real learning happens.”

The React framework made sense for this project because it responds quickly when students click on things. If a student changes the temperature in an experiment, they see results right away. No waiting. No lag. Teachers said this was important for keeping students focused.

Building these modules took serious work. The development team spent weeks with science teachers, watching real labs, and understanding what works and what doesn’t. They had to make sure the virtual experiments matched what happens in real life. Water had to freeze at the right temperature, and chemical reactions had to look accurate. Get these details wrong, and teachers won’t trust the platform.

Integration was another challenge. Schools already use different learning management systems, and nobody wants to juggle multiple platforms. So, Hurix Digital made sure their modules work with Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, or whatever schools already have. Teachers upload the modules like any other assignment, and students access them through familiar interfaces.

The timing works out well. After the past few years, schools everywhere are rethinking digital tools. They learned the hard way that posting PDFs online isn’t digital education. Students need interactive content that keeps them engaged. These interactive science modules deliver that.
