Hurix diligently ensures that all our products and solutions are compliant with all relevant industry and government standards and specifications. Our expertise in compliance covers the following standards:

1. SCORM – multiple versions 1.2, 2004 etc.
SCORM is a set of specifications created by the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative, and stands for Scalable Content Object Reference Model.
 

It establishes a communications protocol between client-side content and the runtime environment of the Learning Management System.

Our experience spans all the versions of SCORM, i.e. Version 1.0, Version 1.1, Version 1.2 and SCORM 2004.
2. AICC

The Airline Industry CBT Committee (AICC) certifies training products that comply with AICC Guidelines and Recommendations. Hurix has the expertise to ensure compliance with both the AGRs for which the AICC currently offers certification, namely:

     
  AGR-006 COMPUTER MANAGED INSTRUCTION (Guidelines for File-based CMI Systems and CBT Courseware)
  AGR-010 WEB-BASED COMPUTER MANAGED INSTRUCTION (Guidelines for Web-based CMI Systems and CBT Courseware)
3. PENS
Package Exchange Notification System (PENS) enables the exchange of content packages between Learning Management Systems (LMS).
4. IMS/QTI

The Question and Test Interoperability (QTI) specifications of the IMS Global Learning Consortium enables the exchange of questions, tests as well as their results between authoring tools, item banks, test constructional tools, learning systems and assessment delivery systems. Our expertise spans the following versions:

5. SIF
We are conversant with all versions of the Schools Interoperability Framework Association’s SIF Specifications, including the latest one, Version 2.0.
6. CORDRA  
We have the expertise to create software systems that conform to the technology and interoperability standards of the Content Object Repository Discovery and Registration/Resolution Architecture (CORDRA). This enables the discovery, sharing and reuse of your content.
7. OKI/OSID
Hurix has the skills and experience to ensure sustainable interoperability and integration of software components by adhering to the standards for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) as defined by the Open Knowledge Initiative (OKI) in its Open Service Interface Definitions (OSIDs).
8. Section 508 Compliance
Hurix is adept at ensuring that all the solutions that we create are accessible to people with disabilities, as required under Section 508 Amendment of the Rehabilitation Act, made by the US Congress in 1998.
