Copy Editing |
|
Our editors work closely with the client’s organisation and the content author to improve the clarity, readability and effectiveness of the supplied manuscript. The editorial team creates a style sheet prior to project initiation and uses it as a basis to effect changes to the format, style and content usage in the manuscripts, wherever necessary. The team works in close association with the author and the client, to effectively weed out inconsistencies, contradictions and inaccuracies in the content.

Indexing and Abstracting |
Indexes and abstracts are invaluable tools that help a reader to navigate through the content. They facilitate users to easily locate content about subjects or topics of interest and to assess the relevance of the content to the purpose for which it is sought. Originally used in the scientific and technical fields, their utility and effectiveness have led them to being a part of any well-presented content, whatever be the subject or discipline.
At Hurix, we perform indexing in a thorough and systematic manner, so that no word or subject that might be of importance in the given subject and that is present in the body of the content is omitted from the index.
Our abstractions present the objectives, scope and major findings included in the content in compact capsules that facilitate users to scan through and assess them in the shortest possible timeframe. Our method uses a detailed analysis of the content to create abstracts that are structured, concise, relevant, and coherent.
