Mumbai, October 13, 2006 - Hurix Systems, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Asia-Pacific region, has moved one step closer to attaining the highest level in the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) quality framework: the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). Hurix was appraised at Maturity Level 4. The appraisal used the Class A Standard Assessment Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI).

This makes Hurix the newest member of a very elite club. The SEI website lists only 35 companies from around the world that have made it to CMMI-4. Others on the list include global technology majors like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Sikorsky, Fujitsu, Hitachi, IBM, etc. Hurix is the only publishing and eLearning company to have made the cut.

Hurix is due to be assessed for Maturity Level 5 shortly.
