Chennai, July 12, 2005: Hurix Systems, a knowledge based solutions provider, announced today that it will expand its operations in Chennai and recruit about 150 people by end of the year. The company has recorded 100% growth in the financial year 2004-2005 and is looking to repeat the performance in the coming year.

As part of its expansion plans, the company has recently acquired a three-floor building on Taylors Road with state-of-the-art development facilities, integrated guest house, recreation area, and a seating capacity up to 200. This will house the existing staff and new recruits of the organization, which include project managers, instructional designers, and software engineers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Subrat Mohanty, CEO said, "Hurix systems is growing exponentially and we need to add to our existing resources to support this growth. We are looking at our Chennai centre to aid our growth and increasing client acquisitions. It will play a key role in ensuring that we meet our clients' expectations and maintain the highest standards of quality and performance."

He further added, "The global eLearning market is expected to reach USD 23.7 billion by 2006. We are preparing ourselves to become a major player in this market."
